Microsoft Corporation is an American multinational corporation headquartered in Redmond,Washington, that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics and personal computers and services.Microsoft was founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen on April 4, 1975.
Throughout the era of computing, Microsoft has given a platform to all kind of users to step into the world of computers. It's no doubt a boon for naive users. Starting from MS Dos,Windows 1.0,Windows 2.11,Windows 3.0,Windows 95,Windows 98,Windows XP,Windows Vista,Windows 7,Windows 8 till the latest Windows 8.1 the Microsoft Operating system softwares are benchmark for excellence in the software world. Even the advent of Microsoft in smart phone operating systems has been a great success.My experience with Microsoft operating system practically started with with drawing pictures in MS-Paint. It may be ridiculous, but it actually helped me explore my imagination into the worlds of software. Since second grade, we have been learning different programming language like Logo,Basic,BlueJ and carrying on till C and C++.
In sixth grade, i got my new computer with Windows XP OS,.My first necessity led me through MS power presentation to help me in my school projects.Since then I was attracted towards this software.I admired the features of Windows XP. Then my use extended to MS office,MS access,MS excel to manage data more efficiently.And now it extended to MSN,Skypye,Zune,Bing,X-Box,Visual Studio(IDE supports many programming language on same platform),Surface Prox(surface computing),OneDrive,MS Home 365,Skydrive,Xbox one,Xbox 360(with Kinect Sensor makes its combination amazing),MSLive Writer,etc.Microsoft has provided an open and flexible cloud platform named Azure to build ,deplay and manage applications across global Datacentre.

Microsoft has made my lifestyle for me by upgrading its technologies and making it user friendly.Now Microsoft has bought Nokia,making its interface cool and trendy naming it Windows Phone(Lumia series).Being a Windows Phone user i am able to have to have a desktop like experience on my mobile device. On-line apps like Word on-line,Power Presentation on-line,OneNote on-line...are of much use to write my articles.Its also syncronises facebook,Google mail,Hotmail,Skype etc. making it more useful for the users.Metro UI and the concept of tiles and visuals in Windows 8,8.1 are eye really catchy and trendy.

MICROSOFT gives various opportunities in bringing out thetalents in students by organising events like Imagine Cup,Microsoft Student Partner ,Microsoft Student Associate,etc.It also conducts various webinars,MEC,MCP<MVA for different certification and learning purposes for many courses.
MVA(Microsoft Virtual Academy) is a great service from Microsoft.It is a free service.It helps to improve various software and hardware computer skills as well as technical skills viz Windows app development,Java,c#,Html,Azure,etcIt is also helpful in providing certification from Microsoft after completion of each course.I am now continuing in MVA doing new courses taken by great faculties from Microsoft.Thus it was a great journey through MSA 2014.
"HOW I PLAN TO BRING A CHANGE TO THE SOCIETY BEING A MICROSOFT STUDENT ASSOCIATE?"
- I will complete all my tasks smoothly and actively given to me within time.
- Being the admin of our college group CSS Societ -CSE ,cetb i will recommend others to join MSA and MSP.We will conduct webinars,workshops,conference,orientation programs,boot-camps,technical events,seminars and present to people,and make them aware and updated about new ongoing changes of Microsoft.
- As said by Bill Gates,"If u show people the problems and you show people the solution they will be moved to act."I will get united with like minded people and start working on more and more developments.I will try to know their problems and solve it ad change their false thoughts about Microsoft products.
- I will create page in facebook and other social networking sites on MSA,MSP,MVA,etc to make the society about the new technologies.I will post more and more technical news about Microsoft making groups.
- Advice people to use original operating systems.Let people know about many activities such as MSP,IMAGINE CUP,YOUTH SPARK,BIZ SPARK,MICROSOFT LEARNING and DIGITAL LITERACY programs,Conduct Appfests ,yappon,Reboot camps and Strive.
- I will promote the products and its application.I will write blogs and share knowledge on Windows app to my readers.
My own dream is to get asociated with my dream company.Iff i get selected as MSA,i would prove my best to be the one fit for this.I will be the first one to represent my college,it will help us a lot to boost upon my carreer with other Microsoft techs and student community.Atlast i want myself to grow under Microsoft.
